Rooftop solar FAQs

How much does rooftop solar cost for a home?

The price depends on system size, brand and your site. Enter your bill in the calculator to see an estimate. You get the exact price in an itemized quotation after the survey.

How do I get the PM Surya Ghar subsidy?

You apply on the national portal. After installation and inspection, the subsidy goes directly to your bank account. Eligibility depends on scheme and DISCOM rules.

Can I get solar on EMI?

Yes, through a bank or NBFC loan. We help with the paperwork. The lender decides approval and interest rate.

How many kW of solar does my home need?

It depends on your monthly units. Enter your bill in the estimate above — the final size is decided after the site survey.

Is the subsidy guaranteed?

No, the subsidy is not guaranteed. It depends on scheme rules, your eligibility and the DISCOM inspection. We fully help with the application and documents.

Will on-grid solar work during a power cut?

No. For safety, an on-grid system switches off when the grid is down. If you need backup, choose a hybrid or off-grid system.

How long does installation take?

Work on site usually takes a few days. Approvals, net-metering and DISCOM processes can take different amounts of time.

What maintenance is needed?

Clean the panels with plain water from time to time and raise a service request if there is a problem. Contact us for an annual check-up.
